Before we can optimise your website, we have to decide on the keywords for which you would like to be ranked high. This is a very important step and the first keywords that you think of might not necessarily be the keywords that lead to the achieving the most 'quality' visits, so we work through a process of keyword research. The process includes finding out the popularity of keywords and phrases, identifying keywords your competitors are using and most importantly which keywords potential customers might use.
Optimise your pages with quality content
Once we've established which keywords to focus on it's time to optimise your website by ensuring there is plenty of good quality, relevant content in-line with your chosen keywords. By doing this we make sure that the search engines have enough information about each of your web pages to index them for the appropriate keywords.

The next stage is to make sure that all the important search engines, internet directories and any special interest sites know about your website.
Link building
Links to your website are a very important factor for high search engine rankings. The way search engines see it, is if other websites link to your site, then your site must be important. However, the key is getting relevant links to your site. For example a link from a fishing rod manufacturer to a fishing tackle shop is seen as a good link. A link from a page about fishing to a builders website is seen a poor link and doesn't add much value.
If you want to get high search engine rankings on Google, Yahoo and other major search engines, then your website must have good inbound links.
How much does search engine optimisation cost?
This really depends on how competitive your market is and how fast you want to achieve page one rankings. We charge £300 for a full days SEO - whether that be keyword research, the optimisation of your web pages or link building.
Most of our customers pay £150 per month for half a days SEO. In most cases this sees good results after a few months. Others opt for an intensive SEO campaign of a few days in the first month and then tail off once the desired positions are achieved.
